Important Notice: Precautionary and Contingency Measures at ERGO Singapore in response to the Covid-19 outbreak
In view of the current Covid-19 situation, ERGO Singapore is taking precautionary measures to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees, partners and customers, while ensuring the continuity of our services and operations.
Since the World Health Organisation (WHO) declared the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 31 January 2020 followed by Pandemic on 11 March 2020, ERGO Singapore has been experiencing much higher number of queries than usual. As such, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused due to longer wait time that you may experience when trying to contact our customer support.
We understand your concern and want to assure you that we are monitoring the situation very closely. We will continue to provide relevant updates on our website or via a circular as the situation evolves or should there be an unforeseen exigency where we need to temporarily close our office.
To safeguard the health and well-being of our partners, customers and our employees, we have implemented these precautionary measures:
- Hand sanitisers are available for use in our office
- Face masks are distributed to our frontline colleagues
- Our staff are reminded regularly to observe personal hygiene
- Our building management is carrying out daily temperature check at every entry
- We have suspended large-scale events and gatherings, and deferred non-essential meetings, trips
In addition to these measures, we strongly encourage customers and visitors who are feeling unwell with respiratory symptoms, to seek medical care immediately and to refrain from entering our office premise. We also encourage all customers and claimants to submit their claims and supporting documents through our online claim portals or via email.
To ensure the continuity of our services and operations, we have planned, tested and put on standby a split team and work-from-home arrangement that can be activated at a very short notice as and when required.
